Sam & Kim Aceti opened Aceti Wine & Spirits December 2, 2006 in the Grand Island Plaza on Grand Island Boulevard, Grand Island, NY. Sam’s desire to open a business and over twenty years of varied experience in the sale of alcohol combined with Kim’s retail experience was a match for the Aceti’s Wine & Spirits business plan. Sam & Kim have a passion for the business and the Grand Island community. They are active community members as well as business owners. Growing up in a family owned Convenience Store Sam learned core values of business ownership. Through the way they run their business and live their lives, Sam & Kim hope that each person who walks in the door makes the decision to become a valued customer.

Our History

Before opening Aceti’s Wine & Spirits Sam & Kim spoke with over 100 Grand Island residents. Aceti’s continues to reach out to customers and the Grand Island community to learn of ways to improve the business. Those interactions resulted in Aceti’s moving to their current location at 2156 Grand Island Blvd, next door to Tops, when customer’s feedback said that it would be a more convenient location. In 2007, Aceti’s was honored as SCORE Buffalo Niagara Client of the Year. In the same year, the New York State Assembly presented Aceti’s with the 2007 Small Business Award. More recently based on customer input, Aceti’s is focused on customer special orders and requests. Being open seven days a week for all Islanders & visitors, Aceti’s Wine & Spirits is Grand Island’s primary retail store for the sale of wine and spirits. Aceti’s Wine & Spirits, Kim & Sam, credits their success to the continued support of their customers.
