A great white wine of the Piedmontese tradition, our Gavi Docg is obtained trough the careful vinification of Cortese grapes, which come from the vineyards located in Alessandria province. After the manual harvest that takes place between the end of September and the beginning of October, it follows the traditional fermentation at low controlled temperature. The wine then stabilizes in the traditional stainless steel tanks. The result is a white wine with a young and fresh style, with a pleasant minerality that comes from the peculiar terroir of the Gavi area, on the border between Piemonte and Liguria region. PRODUCTION AREA : Gavi WINEMAKING FEATURES : The color is straw yellow with greenish highlights, its scent is delicate with hints of peach and almond, as well as notes of fruit, blossoms and just cut hay. The taste is fresh, mineral, light with a sapid final. FOOD PAIRINGS : Great not only as appetizer wine, but also with all kind of starters, fish and pasta.
